Proposed School Closure and Resulting Attendance Boundary Changes

Student success is our top priority in the Murphy Elementary school district. Resources are reviewed and allocated to provide opportunities for learning, growth, and student success. A superintendents committee has reviewed district enrollment trends, budget allocations and other relevant data to make a recommendation for the best use of district buildings and attendance boundaries. The recommendation includes the proposed closure of one of our schools and redrawing attendance boundaries in an effort to provide opportunities for all students of the Murphy School district to learn, grow and succeed now and in the future.
