Parent Volunteers
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Murphy Elementary School District #21! We appreciate your dedication to our students and community. All volunteers must complete a Volunteer Application and provide a copy of their ID/Driver's License, they must attend a Volunteer Training provided by the Community Liaison Ruby Acedo.
Volunteers can be identified as parents, grandparents, community members, retirees, senior citizens, and presenters. Anyone who volunteers must be 18 years of age or older, must present a form of identification, and non-parent volunteers must conduct a background screening provide by the district office through Universal Background Screening.
Parent Volunteers*Do not need to be background screened, but must fill out a Volunteer application and submit a copy of their ID/Drivers License, and complete Volunteer Orientation.

Community Volunteer/Guest Presenter /One time Presenter(s)
*Must complete a Volunteer Application, provide a copy of ID/Driver's License, background screened and attend Volunteer Orientation.
(All will be under teacher/Admin staff supervision) Multiple Presentations/PresentersThe presenter/agency in charge of the presentation must submit an MOU or Partner Agreement to Business Services for approval. In the MOU or Agreement, the agency must specify the name of the agency, name of the presenter(s), background screening. They must also include the services rendered, age group, facility needed, time frames, materials to be utilized and the targeted group. Upon approval from the Sr. Director of Business Services and Human Resources, services may be rendered.
