Substitute Teachers
Murphy Elementary School District believes that our substitute teachers are valued employees that play a vital role in our students’ academic success and achievement. We hire substitutes with the expectations of adherence to the same high standards as our regular classroom teachers. They contribute a great deal to the children of our community.
There is a daily need for high quality substitute teachers in Murphy School District.
Substitute teachers are paid:
$190.00 per day for K-5th Grade.
$195.00 per day for 6th-8th Grade and Special Needs
MESD is pleased to report that we have training for all new substitutes hired. The sessions are designed to provide information that will enable substitutes to have an understanding of the expectations of Murphy School Teachers. This orientation covers:
