Murphy Elementary School District believes that our substitute teachers are valued employees that play a vital role in our students’ academic success and achievement. We hire substitutes with the expectations of adherence to the same high standards as our regular classroom teachers. They contribute a great deal to the children of our community.

There is a daily need for high quality substitute teachers in Murphy School District. 

Substitute teachers are paid:

$23.75 an hour for Kindergarten through 8th grade.

In accordance with The Paperwork Burden Reduction Act (H.R. 3797), the employer must provide clear and conspicuous notice, located on our website in a place that is easily accessible to all responsible individuals. This notice informs that responsible individuals may request a copy of their 1095 statement.

Upon receiving a request, the employer is required to furnish the statement to the requesting responsible individual within 30 days, effective March 3, 2025. To fulfill this obligation, we may provide the statement electronically, provided that the recipient has given their affirmative consent.
