Welcome to Murphy Elementary School District

It is my honor to serve a community with such a rich history and an inspiring vision for the future. Since 1886, Murphy ESD has been a place where students are encouraged to explore, grow, and achieve. Today, we proudly serve more than 900 students across kindergarten through 8th grade, and every day I am reminded of the passion and dedication that defines our district.

At Murphy ESD, we are committed to Growing Strong Minds for a Bright Future. This guiding belief shapes the learning environments we create, the support we provide, and the opportunities we offer each child. We know that academic success is only one part of a student’s journey. Equally important is the ability to lead, to think creatively, to collaborate, and to build confidence. Our goal is to empower students not only for today, but for a future full of possibilities.

We recognize that strong minds need strong foundations. That’s why every student in our district receives free breakfast, lunch, and an after-school meal, ensuring all learners are ready to engage and thrive each day. When students feel cared for, they are free to discover their potential.

As we continue moving forward, my commitment is to lead with transparency, innovation, and a deep respect for the families and staff who make Murphy ESD such a special place. Together, we will continue to build a district where every child is supported, challenged, and inspired to become their best.
