These lesson plans exemplify the types of activities library media specialists can do with classes in the library in order to teach library and information literacy skills. Since all library media centers within the Murphy School District are equipped with Smartboards, most of the lessons incorporate this technology. Also, you will notice that most lessons include worksheets. This is to not only give students independent practice, but also allow time for students to check out books.
